The importance of details on your wedding day!
Have you ever seen the beautiful posts on blogs like San Diego Style? Or in magazines like Exquisite Wedding Magazine?! Weddings with perfect invitation suites, sweet details like their grandmas brooches, and flowers galore! How in the world do they have such glamorous weddings?!
It’s simple. They have great photographers! Sure, the couples take time and think about details they would like photographed, but the truth is, most of the time the photographers make a list of details for their clients to bring! If getting your wedding is important to you, detail shots are going to be your best friend! Blogs and magazines love to share detail photos from weddings as inspiration for their readers! Not to mention, when you order an album after your wedding, guess what makes all the difference? The details!

So, what details are best?
We always recommend bring an extra invitation suite so we can style and photograph it. We also love taking photos of things you’ll be wearing! Shoes, veil, jewelry, rings, cute champagne glasses! But remember, anything special to you, is going to make the most meaningful, and gorgeous photos. As you can see below, we had a bride bring a handkerchief gifted to her parents for the big day!
With any detail photos, we love incorporating flowers to make your wedding album look cohesive and a true piece of art!
One of our favorite type of wedding details are those that are handmade! Margaret and Shane’s wedding was a perfect example. Everything was whimsical, romantic, and thoughtful. Any details made of wood (signage and table/seat names) the groom made himself! The candelabra’s were so unique and definitely transformed the whole night to feel like it was a different time. Soft, feminine and timeless! Paige, with Bliss Events was the coordinator who brought everything together! One of our favorites to work with!
Wedding details don’t need to be stressful! Get with your coordinator and make a list of items you want to make sure and get photos of. Then, put all those items in a bag so you can hand it off to your photographer on your big day! We will take care of the rest!!
