Love has a funny way of finding us, and for Amber and JayP, it happened in the Navy, where they met through mutual friends in Vermont. What brought these two lovebirds together? SpongeBob trivia and similar music tastes! They hit it off immediately and ended up staying up all night talking until 6am. Fast forward to their La Valencia Hotel wedding, and the magic only continued to unfold. It was an unforgettable celebration, filled with tears of joy and belly laughs.
Amber And JayP’s La Valencia Hotel Wedding
On the wedding day, the getting ready moments set the tone for what’s to come. And as we began our day taking pictures of Amber getting ready with her bridal party, we could feel the air buzzing with joy. The room was filled with bright smiles, warm hugs, and a sense of happiness that was contagious. It was then that we knew it was going to be a special day.
Amber looked ravishing in her wedding dress, which was the perfect match for her vibrant bridal bouquet. JayP looked dapper as ever in his black tux. And together, they made a striking couple, and we couldn’t wait to see them standing at the altar together.
Amber and JayP’s wedding was nothing short of picture-perfect, set against the stunning backdrop of La Valencia Hotel. The crystal blue water, lush greenery, swaying palm trees, and vibrant floral arrangements doubled up as the most exquisite elements for their wedding photos.
The best moment, without a doubt, was when JayP locked eyes with Amber as she walked down the aisle. The emotion and love that he radiated gave us all a true glimpse of the bond they shared. Witnessing and documenting that kind of affection is definitely one of the perks of being a wedding photographer. And if that wasn’t enough to make their ceremony heartwarming, their fur babies dressed in stylish tuxedos made an appearance and added an extra dose of cuteness to the ceremony.
The scenery at La Valencia Hotel was simply breathtaking, providing the perfect backdrop for Amber and JayP’s couples portraits. To make things even more romantic, we ventured down to the water’s edge to take some sunset photos, and it was truly worth it. The sky was ablaze with golden hues, offering a striking backdrop for their photos as they soaked in that “just married” feeling.
Jam-packed with moments of pure joy, Amber and JayP’s reception was an absolute blast. From their lovely first dance as newlyweds to the fun cake-cutting ceremony (with a long sword!), every moment was worth a picture. But what really got the party started was JayP’s playlist, which had everyone up on their feet, grooving to the beats. It was impossible not to get caught up in the excitement.
As much fun as the dance party was, the real tear-jerker moment came when JayP surprised us all with a heartwarming dance with his grandma. It was such a sweet moment, and we were all reaching for tissues (including myself!). In the end, Amber and JayP’s love story came full circle, from meeting in the Navy to a gorgeous wedding surrounded by their loved ones at La Valencia Hotel.
