We offer month of packages and full service package and really everything in between. We are able to customize our packages to best fit what the client needs.

Q. What is your service area? Do you travel?
A. We primarily work in San Diego County but we would love to travel to Orange County or even Palm Desert. I would have to say our heart is in San Diego. :)

Q. Tell us a little about how you got into the wedding industry…
A. I have been planning events since I was a little girl so this is a natural profession for me. I have loved logistics, design, guest management and overall event planning for as long as I can remember. In college I was the social event chair for my sorority at the University of San Diego and got a taste for hospitality and it just stuck! After college, I worked for Westfield Malls in marketing and corporate events. I have to say though, weddings and events were always my passion. I went back to school for event planning and I started planning weddings and events on the side to get experience and to absorb what the industry had to offer. Then I met Rachel, the owner of Bliss Events and we just connected. I am so proud to be a planner for such a unique and special company with an amazing group of women. Rachel has really built this company and made it successful and I am honored to be a part of this dynamic and creative team of wedding coordinators.

Q. How would you describe your “ideal client”? What kind of bride or groom fits into the services you offer?
A. Every client is so unique and different, no weddings are the same and no client is the same. Each has their own personality and style. I think the ideal client would give their trusted vendors flexibility to do what they do best along with a little direction from them and just enjoy their day. It’s so easy to get caught up with the little details and not sit back and enjoy the moment with friends and family. Leave the details to us and get on that dance floor and dance the night away!

We have all typed of clients that come to us with all different needs for their weddings. Some come with all vendors and venue selected and some come to us with no details at all. Our job is to listen and then act and partner them with the best vendors for their budget and style and create a dream team for their day.

Q. What do you love about your job the most?
A. What don’t I love about my job. I LOVE LOVE my job. I still tear up at ever ceremony. I still take selfies with my brides, they still pull me up on the dance floor with them at the end of the night. What is not to love? But seriously, I love the relationships that I make with my brides and watching their lives unfold on social media or on their holiday cards. I love that after the wedding, they become like family to me.

Each wedding I treat as my own wedding, down to ever last detail. I treat their families like my own and I truly 150% want the best for them not only on their big day but in life and love.

Q. Tell us three wedding trends you LOVE right now?
A. I ADORE the use of marquee letters and especially the word LOVE. I adore lace and chandeliers and what vintage styles it’s bringing back. The use of COLOR and metallic and the energy it brings! The loose organic look and feels and the use of farm tables vs the rounds and also incorporating herbs and fruits into centerpieces not just flowers. Such an exciting time to be in this industry!

Q. Whats your favorite wedding tradition?
A. My favorite wedding tradition is the father/daughter dance. I love how emotional the fathers get seeing their little girl as a woman, all dressed up but still envisioning her in diapers. The tear down his cheek as she starts a family of her own. I love the pride in his eyes and the sparkle in hers. Such a special moment for them both. Now that I have my own daughter, I am already looking forward to that moment for my husband and her.

Q. Whats one of most unique aspects of a wedding you’ve seen while on the job? (ie. a detail, vows, animals in the wedding, funny or emotional dances etc.)
A. I love doing things that most brides don’t do and often times, my brides will ask me, “Korie, what have you not seen at a wedding anywhere,” and that is what they want to do at theirs. I love traditions, so my first Indian wedding when they walked down the aisle with lanterns instead of flowers was unique. My favorite memory though was at a wedding at Estancia where the brides Dad and four of his buddies dressed in gold sequin tuxes and took the stage and performed 5 songs on their own as a tribute to his daughter. It was classic!

Q. Show us some love! Why do you enjoy working with the France Photographers team?
A. What don’t I love about my France’s finest group of women. I adore them personally of course, but professionally, they just get it. They are super talented and their detail with lighting and positioning is impeccable. I will have to say that they are the dream team. They capture such emotion and really work well with different personalities and family dynamics. They have the ability to bring out the beauty in every situation but in a way that is sensitive and kind. They all have a nurturing sense about them that is light and easy going but don’t be fooled… these gals mean business and they will do anything for the shot.. WHATEVER it takes and in a way that in non intrusive and respectful. I cannot say enough about this team. Not only do they work together so well with each other and are in tune on their thoughts and actions during the wedding day, they also work so well with all vendors making the wedding day seamless and fluid. Thank you France ladies for being so amazing at what you do and for just being you… Cannot wait until our next wedding together!
