Q. What is the name of your business and what do you offer?
A. The name of my company is Dj Pros. I offer Dj service and lighting for Wedding’s

Q. What is your service area? Do you travel?
A. Yes, I do travel! I’m located in Wildomar, which is right next to Murrieta/Temecula Ca. I travel to San Diego County, Orange County and Riverside County as well.

Q. Tell us a little about how you got into the wedding industry…
A. I actually stumbled into the Wedding industry. I have always loved Dj’ing. I started Dj’ing when I was 13 years old and did small parties and Sweet 16’s until I graduated High School. I joined the US Navy, was a finance manager after that…then I resigned and went back to school to get my Nursing License. When I started Nursing school, I started my Dj company. I then had the pleasure of Dj’ing a Wedding for Daniel, a Wedding client of mine and he wrote a Yelp review in 2011. From there my business started growing and growing and I couldn’t have done it without working with such amazing clients, vendors and venue’s as well!

Q. How would you describe your “ideal client”? What kind of bride or groom fits into the services you offer?
A. My ideal bride and groom is someone who is very happy to get Married, has a smile and a positive attitude and entrusts in the professionals they hired to make their day extremely memorable and doesn’t worry about the tiny details(which is one of my jobs)!

Q. What do you love about your job the most?
A. I love being able to be part of one of the most memorable days of a person’s life!

Q. Tell us about a wedding trend you LOVE right now?
A. I’d have to say one of the coolest trends I’ve personally seen on the Dj side is the wireless headphones for Weddings. I used them for an outdoor Wedding that couldn’t have any music played after 10pm. My client wanted to go to midnight….so I ordered the wireless headphones and everyone rocked out until midnight. The coolest thing is when people sung to songs and when you took off your headphones they sounded really funny and people were huffing and puffing during dancing.haha Everyone loved it, it was fun…different and gives clients and alternative to extending their Wedding Receptions.

Q. Whats your favorite wedding tradition?
A. The Father Daughter dance, definitely! I have 4 children. 2 boys and 2 girls. It always get’s me when I see a Father balling his eyes out or when they both hug and you can feel the emotion.

Q. Whats one of most unique aspects of a wedding you’ve seen while on the job? (ie. a detail, vows, animals in the wedding, funny or emotional dances etc.)
A. I’d have to say, seeing the USC Band at a Wedding was really cool! It was loud, fun and very unique!
