Love is a powerful and magical thing. As wedding photographers, we are constantly amazed by the commitment and dedication two individuals have toward each other. Recently, we had the honor of capturing Erika and Jamie’s wedding at The Prado at Balboa Park – a celebration filled with laughter, smiles, and, most importantly, love. These two lovebirds met at a gym, and what started as a simple consultation led to an intimate Hawaiian elopement a year ago. Now, they stand together more in love than ever before. Seeing how they looked at each other, it’s clear that “forever” is a perfect fit for them.
Erika And Jamie’s The Prado At Balboa Park Wedding
We started the day photographing the happy couple as they prepared for their big day. Seeing Erika and Jamie beaming in joy and excitement was incredible as they got ready with their loved ones, who were just as thrilled. Erika was a vision in her stunning wedding dress, with a gorgeous bridal bouquet complementing her look perfectly. Jamie looked dapper as ever, exuding confidence and sophistication.
Love was in the air at The Prado at Balboa Park for Erika and Jamie’s big day. The venue was surrounded by lush greenery and beautiful architecture. Witnessing their first look was heartwarming. Their eyes met, and we could feel their love radiating. As we worked our creative magic, we discovered unique backdrops that helped us elevate Erika and Jamie’s wedding day story. Their energy was electric, and every kiss and smile melted our hearts. From candlelit corners to green archways, The Prado at Balboa Park was an excellent setting for their wedding.
Erika and Jamie’s wedding ceremony was an absolute fairy tale. The tasteful layout of their ceremony at Casa del Rey Moro Garden left everyone in awe. Seeing Erika gracefully descend the stairs to meet her love at the wishing well was a moment that will forever be etched in our memories. Guests were swept away by the soulful music played by a talented saxophonist who added a touch of romance to an already enchanting atmosphere during their ceremony and cocktail hour. Emotions ran high as Erika and Jamie exchanged their vows and sealed their marriage with a kiss.
The reception hall looked like something straight out of a dream, with impressive wooden beams, elegant uplighting, and stunning decor setting the mood for some fun! The newlyweds were the stars of the show as they dazzled everyone with their flawless dance moves. As an added surprise, the couple decided to play their wedding video from Hawaii during the reception. It was such a special gift for Jamie, who had been patiently waiting to see it. Soon enough, friends and family enthusiastically joined the newlyweds on the dance floor to celebrate and dance the night away.
