“What if you get sick or stuck in traffic and can’t shoot our wedding?”
This is such a great question! The issue of vendors simply not showing up on a wedding day has to be one of a bride’s worst nightmares. However, I think its a reasonable concern because as we all know, life does happen. I wish we had superpowers that controlled the weather, rambunctious flower girls and whether or not your Uncle Bob steps into the aisle to take a shot of your first kiss on his iPad. But, we don’t.
Weddings are unpredictable and we do our best to anticipate anything unexpected that could pop up. One very significant way we do this is at the very core of France Photographers…. teamwork. By choosing to book with us, you are booking with a studio that has an automatic backup plan should anyone become very sick or break their ankle skydiving. Its rare that all three of us are shooting weddings on the same day, so in most cases another France Photographer could step in if absolutely necessary. While we each have a unique eye, our shooting style is consistent – so we are confident your backup France Photographer would deliver something just as incredible as the one you booked. Not to worry though, instances like this are extremely rare (knock on wood, please).
In terms of battling that pesky Southern California traffic we always make arriving early a priority. We aways arrive to a venue 1 hour early to scope out shots for the day and see where the light will be great later on. We like to be prepared (can you tell?). So worst case scenario we hit crazy unexpected traffic and arrive right on time. We’re always aware of higher traffic times like holiday weekends and we keep our cars in tip top shape to prevent any kind of breakdown.
