We love shooting at The Ranch at Bandy Canyon! We’re all a little sentimental about it because its where Sara shot her first magazine cover for Exquisite Weddings Magazine and we spent two days on the ranch having a blast with all the horses and beautiful details. As you can imagine is was pretty awesome to come back again for Melissa and Erik’s wedding day!
I knew their day was going to be awesome when Melissa said to me, “We’re not good at taking photos.” Every time a couple says this they end up bringing out their inner model! I loved every minute! Melissa looked so gorgeous in her blush and ivory gown and I couldn’t get enough of all her purple jewelry. I love when brides make their wedding-look their own. Erik has a larger than life personality and he was so much fun to shoot! As a couple they are sweet and goofy, always smiling and so in LOVE. #EveryPhotographersDream
Something super unique about Melissa and Erik’s wedding ceremony is they chose to speak their vows to each other privately. (This was the first time I’ve seen this done!) They moved to the back of their wedding arch and whispered their life-long promises to each other. It was an amazing moment!
