Nothing brings us greater joy than capturing special moments on a couple’s wedding day. From the first look to the epic last dance, every moment is brimming with joy and laughter. And at the heart of it all is the bond shared by two people who have chosen to spend their lives together. As wedding photographers, we aim to document authentic moments as they unfold. Ali and Patrick’s La Valencia Hotel wedding in La Jolla, California, was no exception. It was evident how much the couple valued their family and friends, and their wedding photos are a reflection of the unconditional love they have for each other and their loved ones.
Meet The Couple
Fate has a funny way of bringing people together, and in Ali and Patrick’s case, it was meant to be. Despite being from different parts of the country, with Ali hailing from Texas and Patrick from Southern California, fate brought them together in Chicago: A place they now call home. Witnessing their love and commitment to each other on their wedding day was heartwarming, and we feel so honored to have been a part of their special day.
Ali And Patrick’s La Valencia Hotel Wedding
As we arrived at the venue, we could feel the excitement in the air! The bridal party was getting ready in the bridal suite, and the laughter and chatter echoed through the halls. Ali was surrounded by her girlfriends, who are like family to her. Ali is a true girls girl who values the bond of sisterhood. Her bridesmaids were all smiles as they helped her get ready for her big day, and Ali looked like a princess in her wedding dress! Meanwhile, Patrick buttoned his suit and had a few celebratory drinks with his groomsmen. Before the ceremony, Ali had not one but three first looks! The first was with her soul sisters, aka bridesmaids, then with her father and brother, and finally with her to-be-husband Patrick. It was a whirlwind of emotions, and we captured every precious moment as it unfolded.
The wedding ceremony took place on the lush green lawn at the luxurious La Valencia Hotel, overlooking the pool area. Paired with pleasant weather and exquisite natural lighting, Ali and Patrick’s wedding ceremony pictures turned out to be so wonderful and vibrant! The couple exchanged their vows in front of their family and friends, and the entire setting was super lovely.
After their intimate and touching ceremony, it was time to get the party started! Both Ali and Patrick wanted the day to be a fun celebration of their love, which it certainly was. From the emotional speeches and romantic first dance to the guests clinking their glasses and dancing like there was no tomorrow, everyone had a blast. Moreover, Ali was overjoyed to be surrounded by her girls, who really made her feel like a true ‘dancing queen’.
