Shooting Kristina and Greg’s wedding at the La Jolla Country Club was a blast. I had a good feeling after getting one of my favorite shots of a wedding dress at Kristina’s parents house. It’s always challenging to get a shot of the dress unattended before a wedding. I think it shows the “calm before the storm” feeling of wedding preparations.
I want to thank Cynthia Zatkin of CZ Events for all her hard work coordinating this wedding.
Kristina and Greg chose to be married on the fairway of the first hole. The fairway at the La Jolla Country Club was a gorgeous location to shoot at. Most people believe a golf course could not offer such beautiful scenery. These photos beg to differ. The Kikuyu grass used by the La Jolla Country Club made the images pop with the greens offering a perfect setting for these group shots at the La Jolla Country Club.
Kathryn Gayner Design did a beautiful job providing the flowers for the wedding and the reception.
One of the bride’s friends brought a date that everyone was really excited to meet, The Bachelor, Andy Baldwin. Andy was such an incredibly nice guy. We have a really good mutual friends, Josh and Carrie Cox. You might remember Josh and Carrie from the Apple site where you can see both their engagement and wedding images. One of their wedding photos was also chosen for my cover story in Studio Photography. You can see Josh on a video about World Vision on Andy’s website as well. Such incredible gifts these people have been given and they use those gifts in inspiring ways to help so many people! Thank you Andy for sharing your warm and wonderful spirit with everyone at the wedding. The picture below is of the Mother of the Bride dancing with Andy. So cute!
