Photography Business Internship in San Diego

What: Part-time internship with Sara France Photography

Where: San Diego, CA (North Park Area)

When: Staring Monday August 2nd, 2010

Hours: 10-20hrs/week.

Length of Internship: 3-6months

Positions Available: 2

Schedule: Monday- Friday anytime between 10am-7pm.

Summary: Internship in a super awesome studio environment with amazing, inspiring, creative, fun women and possibly a guy if you are a guy and decide to brave it.  We are looking for a person with passion for Photography as well as Business/Marketing/Social Media. Possible growth to a paid position within the company. Must be dog friendly or Bodie will know…he can smell fear!  ;)

Sample of Responsibilities:

1. Managing Facebook page
2. Creating blog posts
3. Other cool marketing stuff
4. Some personal assistant work (ie: gear organization, errands, studio maintenance, bank runs)
5. Light post production work (ie: raw edits, image selection)
6. Opportunities to assist on week day & weekend photo shoots!

Computer and Software skills needed:

1. Mac User!
2. Proficient in Photoshop
3. Knowledge of Apple’s Aperture or strong desire to learn
4. Experienced in Word Press
5. Mac user, did I say that already?

Skill Requirements:

1. Internet savvy
2. Skillful with Social Media (ie: Facebook, Twitter, Blogging etc.)
3. Organized  (overly organized is a plus!)
4. Professional
5. Flexible with daily tasks
6. Resourceful
7. Able to work independently
8. Owns reliable transportation
