Puerto Rico Destination Wedding ~ Day 1

Today I landed in Puerto Rico.  I am here for a Destination Wedding.  I brought a long a great second photographer and a great friend, David Manning.  We decided to take a red eye so we would have the day to explore when we got here.  We did not sleep much on the flights so we were pretty out of it when we got here but we headed to the hotel for my favorite part of going out of town, when you get to the room!  This time was especially fun because the room hotel and the room was amazing!!!  Check out these shots that David shot of of our room.  Tomorrow I will take some images of the lobby.  It is so amazing!!!

After we got checked in and got some lunch we headed out to Old San Juan to do some location scouting.  Most of the shots we took were just for location scouting but here are a few fun ones I took along the way.  I love this old door.  I really love it because it has a red wall around it!

We stopped at the San Christobal Fort.  This fort was so beautiful.  I loved the ocean in the background.

We stopped at Ben and Jerry’s to get some ice cream and this was the sweetest Ben and Jerry’s I have ever seen.  Check out David’s blog for some more of the images.  Puerto Rico Textures-IMG_3949

Check back tomorrow for some more images.  We are going to do a long hike in the rain forest tomorrow so we are really excited about that!

I love destination weddings!  I am super excited about meeting the clients for the first time tomorrow too.  Okay, time to crash!
