Last month we shot our very first wedding at the Grand Hyatt Downtown in San Diego! Everything about this venue screamed luxurious and modern. The architecture was so unique and allowed for beautiful natural light, especially in the indoor ceremony space! Down the aisle at the ceremony they had a long red carpet, which was the perfect pop of color in the bright room. They had one of the best ceremonies we’ve ever seen – there was humor, amazing vows (which they just spoke from the heart), tears of joy, and her brother officiated!
Weddings by Thomas Lewis put on a spectacular event full of high end vendors and a couple who belongs in a fashion magazine!
When we photographed Chiharu and Rendell’s engagement session, we knew we were destined to have a crazy good time at their wedding, and get photos that were extraordinary. Don’t believe us? And at their wedding, while we were shooting on the balcony the 36th floor of the tower, overlooking San Diego Bay, we got those amazing shots! Our intern Christina was afraid of the height, but she was a trooper in helping us get the photos! Chiharu and Rendell nailed every pose we gave them, and were a dream to work with!
