Matt called me on a Wednesday to see if I was available to photograph his proposal to Miri just a few days later. Luckily I was, because this moment was nothing short of absolutely perfect. Miri had no idea she was going to walk away from her and Matt’s “portrait session” with a brand new fiancé AND a sparkling Tiffany gem to call her own.
Because Matt will be deployed for a second time very soon, he used this as the perfect opportunity to get his (then) girlfriend in front of the camera without rousing any suspicions. He told her he wanted them to have nice pictures to look at of the two of them when he’s away again (sighs all around).
Their moment was sweet, sincere and so very personal. I was HONORED to be a part of it.
