Shane and Savannah got married at the Museum of Contemporary Arts in La Jolla this weekend. I was so excited to shoot their wedding, not only for their awesome venue, but more importantly because I’ve known them for a few years now and couldn’t wait to see them again! I met Shane when we both worked at Elephant Bar back in the day and from the very first day I met him….I knew he was head over heels for his girl!!
They got married on the one weekend San Diego had a freak tropical storm in the middle of July. Luckily their venue had a back up plan for their ceremony with windows from floor to ceiling overlooking the ocean. Shane works for Air BnB so the guys got ready at a great little spot in PB while the girls stayed at the Scripps Inn which is a hop, skip, and a jump to the Museum.
The rain had let up enough after the ceremony that we were able to get some great shots of the two of them outside on the balcony, and as the sun dipped down we go to play in the rain a little bit and got a great shot!!
