I was so excited to shoot Kiera and Tim’s wedding day in Austin Texas – not only because Kiera is my niece – but because these two have something really special between them. You can tell how much they love each other and what a perfect match they are!
The lead up to their wedding day was very eventful! Firstly, Kiera’s twin sister and Maid of Honor, Kacie, gave birth just two days before the wedding (does that make me a “great aunt?” – eeek!). It was also supposed to rain the day of the wedding. Fate was on their side, however. Kacie and her brand new baby-girl made it to the wedding AND the weather was GORGEOUS!
There were so many personal touches at Kiera and Tim’s wedding. Kiera made EVERYTHING – down to her own bouquet!
I feel so lucky to be a photographer and play such a major role in the amazing life events of the people I love most. I definitely found myself feeling emotional throughout the day.
