Intimate Naval Wedding at Green Gables Estate
Anna and Kurtis’ wedding at Green Gables Estate this weekend was a dream! We’ve photographed countless weddings at Green Gables over the years, but each one is always so special. I was so excited to photograph this San Diego wedding and it lived up to every expectation. Anna and I had talked several times before her wedding and when I finally met her in the morning, I felt like we had been friends forever! Her personality and joy was contagious and I was instantly giddy about her big day.
Kurtis is in the Navy and I absolutely LOVED all of their details and the color scheme that they had throughout the wedding. The jewel tones of their florals really matched perfectly with all their reception decor. They even had a wooden anchor for everyone to sign! Tying in special details and items close to your heart makes your wedding unique and something you will love looking back on!
Anna and Kurtis’ sweet baby girls were stealing the spotlight, and no one had a problem with it! They were so beautiful and including them in the wedding traditions was the highlight of the night. Harper with her big blue eyes was a hit in her little wagon walking down the aisle. And Alyssa was so beautiful and brave as she spoke for her dad and new mom! They even included Alyssa in a ‘first dance’ during the reception, and I don’t think there was a dry eye in the room!
