Shooting proposals has to be one of my top things that I love about what I do. When they are in San Diego and on the water, they are always a dream! The anticipation leading up to that person getting down on one knee and proposing is so electric. It’s so special to have that time documented (hint, hint!). The beginning of so many amazing things to come!
Hugo was so great from the moment he contacted me. I could tell how excited he was to plan this entire proposal. He wanted to make sure it went exactly what he envisioned, and we don’t blame him! His proposal to Cyndi was a special moment, and it being perfect (and photographed!) is the best! Not only was I going to be a part of that intimate moment, but he also had a guitarist that was going to be playing their favorite songs! Oh, and not to mention he had someone come with a mini “Up” house since that was their favorite movie to watch together! He had taken Cyndi out on a beautiful day date to La Jolla cove, and coaxed her into ‘taking a stroll by the water’. The perfect way to end their amazing day together.
As soon as Cyndi saw the “Up” house you could see that she knew something was up. She gave a glance over at Hugo who had the biggest smile on his face as he got down on one knee and proposed. The whole thing was straight out of a fairytale!
