Fresh Faces of France Photographers… Cindy!

A LITTLE ABOUT CYNDI

I was born and mostly raised in West Palm Beach, FL (my father’s job relocated us a lot growing up) a short time after my parents moved there from Colombia. In my family I’m known as the little social butterfly because I love getting to know people and finding true connections within different personalities. I’ve lived in Sunny San Diego for over a year now and absolutely love it! The beaches, the people, the endless entertainment & outdoor activities are just fantastic.

WHERE SHE FOUND US

I found France Photographers through my friend Michele Kitchell whom I’ve worked with in the past and she highly recommended this internship opportunity after finishing up her term as their intern.

WHAT SHE LOVES ABOUT PHOTOGRAPHY

What do I not love about photography?! I love capturing the moments, the emotions, the mystery in everything and everyone to ultimately tell a breathing taking story through images.

WHY SHE WANTED TO DO THE INTERNSHIP

So many reasons on why I had to take this amazing opportunity, I kept in touch with Michele after working with her and she would tell me about all these amazing techniques she learn and how she was going to use it for her next shoot. As she started using all these tools she was learning, I saw her work change before my eyes and thought WOW! When she approached me about the France Photographers intern program and how they had a few spots left, I had to go for it.

CYNDI’S HOBBIES

Painting, photography, scrapbooking, paddle boarding, socializing, editing photos

WHAT SHE INTENDS TO LEARN

Anything and everything I possibly can, I’ve already learned so much in such a small amount of time and I can’t wait to see what’s to come. I’m making sure to sign up for as many weddings or shoots that are offered to us as interns to get that field experience because I feel that’s extremely important. Seeing them on location, how they are getting these images, and how they communicate with clients is key to being a great photographer. What I’ve learn so far when it comes to editing programs and different techniques has also been hands down the best learning experience, they take their time and don’t mind questions which we can all appreciate the patients as we are learning new skills.
