Three Years in the Making

Today marks three years since my very first wedding!! I absolutely love what I do for multiple reasons but I think the biggest reason is the relationships with the people that come into my life because of it. I had known Bonnie since elementary school, and Felix I knew briefly in high school. We all lost touch, as many people do after high school but thanks to social media we were still able to catch up every once in a while. When I had bought my first DSLR (camera) a lot of my family and friends wanted me to take their photos, even though I was still learning what all the gadgets and buttons did! I hadn’t even been to a wedding in ages, let alone had the thought of wanting to photograph it! But one day I received this message from Bonnie: Screenshot 2014-06-24 12.08.04 I was so nervous when I met with them, because I knew how much of a risk they were taking with me as their wedding photographer. I mean I had ZERO wedding images, but she reassured me that that didn’t matter, that they knew I would do a great job anyway! That day, in the middle of a Coffee Bean Cafe, I officially booked my first wedding. Their wedding was a complete success and I am forever grateful to them for putting so much faith in me and my work. I now have been blessed enough to photograph their wedding, birth announcements, maternity, and their brand new baby boy, Felix James. It’s relationships like this that really make my heart flutter with excitement and make me thank the stars and heavens that I’m truly able to do what I love!!

Happy Anniversary Guerrero’s!! I love you all to the moon and back!!!
