2014 has been a monumental year for us as photographers, business women and personally as well! It was our first FULL YEAR as a team. We had no idea what to expect from expanding so rapidly, but looking back we can see all the ways we were able to adapt during this season of change. There have been trials and tears, but also so much triumph and joy. The one thing that is never forgotten is how much we love each other and what we’re able to produce together. We are family.
A huge focus of 2014 has been Sara’s pregnancy. We could not be more excited to welcome Charlie Anne into the world and are anxiously awaiting her arrival (any day now!). Charlie has given us so many reasons to get together and celebrate with our friends this year – our little “bean” is blessing us all so much already and we LOVE her.
This year we shot 44 weddings, traveled to Las Vegas and Santa Barbara to speak at photography conferences, taught a class for Creative Live, hosted our first second shooter workshop, started a Portrait Membership program, shot weddings in Martha’s Vineyard, New York City, Colorado, Sacramento and even went to San Francisco for an engagement! It has been a blessed and busy year to say the least and we are already looking forward to next year when we are speaking at WPPI yet again! (The train never stops, people!)
We also wanted to send a gigantic shout out to all of our wedding clients from 2014. You are the reason we get to wake up in the morning and do what we love. Without you, there would be no France Photographers. You’ve invited us into your lives, trusted us to tell your love story, taken us on adventures – to the beach, through vineyards and across the country. From our growing family to yours, THANK YOU for one of the greatest years so far!
