Let me warn you all before you scroll down that there is HOTTIE alert on this post! Danelle and Jake are some seriously good looking people, sweet as pie and to top it all off….are incredibly in love with each other! That combo is enough to get anyones heart fluttering!
I met Danelle through our mutual friend and wedding coordinator Monica who will be helping them with their wedding next year! Danelle was really excited about the engagement photos and expressed to me that they really loved the beach and wanted bright and airy photos. I knew exactly where to take them! La Jolla shores have some of the best beaches on the west coast! The cliffs are unbelievable and you just can’t beat Scripps Pier and all it’s majesty!
Danelle and Jake were such naturals in front of the camera and we had so much fun that I didn’t even realize how long we had been shooting! I had such a blast with these two and I can’t wait until their wedding day is here!
Here’s a little bit about them as a couple:

Q. Tell us the story of how you met…A. We met out at a night club called Bar West, he asked me on a date when I got back from Christmas break and sure enough he kept up his word, we went on our first date to Harney Sushi in Old Town and we’re together ever since. We took a weekend getaway to LA our third weekend dating to see a Lakers game and explore. After spending a weekend with someone you barely knew at the moment and having such a great time, we knew we had a special connection.

Q. Name three things you (bride-to-be) like about your fiancé…A. He’s a hard working determined man.
He makes sure I am always happy in work, life and anything in general.
His ability to always make me see a different perspective.

Q. Name three things you (groom-to-be) like about your fiancé…A. She’s sweet and takes care of me when I need it the most.
Her organization skills and ability to plan and ensure everything happens, she plans and brings much enjoyment and excitement into the relationship.
Her dedication to everything and giving her best.

Q. What do you think is unique about you as a couple?A. Our comparability with each other we never fight and always can agree eye to eye on things. We are able to focus on the important things in our relationship and focus on what makes us happy.

Q. Name a few activities you like to do together? (ball games, the library, your favorite karaoke bar, long walks on the beach, cooking classes)A. We love to cook, we have traveled all over the world and we are pretty big food critics! Travel would be our other favorite hobby, we are also both very active and workout together – I am a runner and Jake is a past Basketball player and very into sports!

Q. If you had a day off together and wanted to do something fun, what would you choose?A. Something outside – lunch with an ocean view and a bottle of wine and a nice walk out somewhere we could people watch.
